Timeline: click-drag to create time entry broken/removed

Previously, I was able to click, drag, and release directly on the timeline to quickly create a new time entry. This was a very convenient way to log hours without having to fill in start/end times manually.

This functionality now appears to be either bugged or removed. Clicking and dragging on the timeline no longer creates a new entry.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Go to Hours registration → Timeline view

2. Click and drag on an empty time slot in the timeline

3. Release — no new entry is created

Expected behavior: A new time entry is created spanning the dragged time range. Actual behavior: Nothing happens.

Please could you confirm whether this is a known bug or an intentional change? If it was removed, I'd strongly encourage bringing it back — it significantly sped up my workflow.
